1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount of technical information automatically:
- Account information — your phone number (for one-time-code sign-in), or your name, email address and profile photo if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Profile details — a display name you set, and a wallet balance if you add funds for consultations.
- Booking and enquiry details — information you submit through our booking or "Send Enquiry" forms, such as your name, phone number, and the message or concern you share, plus birth details (date, time, place of birth) if you request a Kundli or chart-based reading.
- Local device storage — we use your browser's local storage to remember your sign-in state and language preference, so pages load without flicker.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account, and show your bookings and wallet balance on your profile.
- To respond to enquiries and connect you with the right astrologer by call, chat, or WhatsApp.
- To generate the Kundli, matchmaking, or other calculator results you request.
- To keep the Site secure and working correctly.
3. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — our authentication and database provider, which stores your account and booking data on our behalf.
- Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email, and profile photo with us as permitted by your Google account settings.
- WhatsApp — if you use a "Chat on WhatsApp" link, the conversation happens directly on WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy terms, not ours.
- Astrologers and staff at Nirva Astro, solely to deliver the consultation or service you requested.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage (not third-party advertising cookies) to remember whether you're signed in and your preferred language, so the Site feels fast and consistent between pages.
5. Data retention
We keep account, booking, and enquiry information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, respond to you, and meet legal or accounting requirements.
6. Your choices and rights
You can update your display name from your profile at any time, and sign out whenever you like. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
7. Children's privacy
Nirva Astro is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Security
We rely on Google Firebase's security infrastructure to protect your data, and access to booking and account records is limited to what is needed to run the Site.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent changes.
